It seems that my mind and my propensity to question authority have led me to ask for answers yet none are forthcoming.
Over the next few post I will pose a question asking by what authority either of law or of the Constitution do our legislators, both federal and local, get the authority to impose their will on "We The People"?
I invite all of my readers to post answers to these questions.
Be careful, you will be challenged to prove your answer. Do not post personal opinion, talking points or the platitudes of the left's "Joseph Gerbils." (Pun intended.) (Goebbles)
I will predict now that no Leftist/Liberal/Progressive/Democrat will attempt to answer the question because it requires thought and knowledge.
1st question.
Where did President Lincoln get the authority to deny states right to secession and suspend Habeas Corpus?
Before you answer remember Article 1 Section 8, 9, and 10.
Hint Right to Secession is guaranteed.
